Business & corporate

A meeting in a Georgian house. Lunch from a 2 AA Rosette kitchen.

Three conference rooms, exclusive use overnight, team building from cookery to a lighthouse cruise – for groups of two to fifty.

At a glance

Small enough to be inspiring. Big enough to mean business.

A team off-site at Ghan House feels nothing like the chain-hotel version. The same Georgian rooms, log fires and gardens that work for weddings work equally well for a board day, a strategy off-site, or a small conference – and Carlingford gives the group something to do at the end of it.

Three rooms inside

Choose the room that fits the meeting.

All three are usable as meeting rooms by day and dining rooms by night. Same log fires, same views.

Up to 32 delegates

The Drawing Room

  • Theatre style: 32
  • Boardroom: 20
  • U-shape: 18

Rococo ceiling, log fire, views of the Lough and Mournes. The most distinctive of the three – and the one most groups end up dining in.

Up to 50 delegates

The Ballroom

  • Theatre style: 50
  • 75″ touchscreen
  • Marantz stereo
  • Camera for Zoom/Teams

The conference room. Wireless presentations from any device, full whiteboard mode, Marantz audio. Views of Slieve Foy and Carlingford Lough through the windows.

Up to 18 delegates

Ground Floor Dining Room

  • Boardroom: 18
  • U-shape: 12

Compact, intimate, garden-facing – for a sharp half-day meeting or a small senior off-site. Log fire, Mourne views.

For the conference

75-inch touchscreen. Wireless from any device.

The Ballroom’s permanently-fixed 75″ touchscreen handles bright, wireless presentations from any device, doubles as a whiteboard, and has a built-in camera for hybrid Zoom or Teams meetings. Sound runs through the Marantz stereo for proper presentation audio.

LCD projector, flip charts, photocopying and printing all available if you want them in one of the other rooms.

Team building

Something to do after the meeting.

All bookable in advance for groups of 8 or more. Pair any of these with the meeting day – or stretch the off-site to two nights and do more than one. Carlingford Food Tours, Yoga, outdoor gym equipment, Hotbox Sauna, beautician – Carlingford has all of these on the doorstep. Tell us the brief, we’ll match it.
