About this room

A garden wing bedroom, ten metres from the Main House.

Eight of these bedrooms sit in the garden wing, just a few strides to the side of the Main House. Decorated over the decades with family antiques and heirlooms – no two are quite alike.

Every Queen Standard has a Queen-size bed (150 × 200 cm), a proper roll-top bath and a separate power shower – except for one ground-floor room that has an easy-access wet-room shower instead. Please ask if you need that one; you can also book it directly online.

All rooms benefit from views of Slieve Foy mountain and the walled gardens, on either the ground or first floor of the garden wing. Heating and hot water are provided by two air-source heat pumps, running on 100% renewable electricity since the day we installed them.

Breakfast is included with every stay. We’re a 45-second walk from the medieval streets of Carlingford, but tucked behind 8-foot castellated walls – quiet, private, and entirely your own.
